A postdoctoral fellow is required to join Professor Bhattacharya's group
working on the genetic basis of retinal degeneration. The project involves
mapping and cloning of a novel gene for autosomal dominant retinits pigmentosa.

Candidates must possess a PhD degree in Genetics or Biochemistry, be highly
motivated and should be able to lead an independent programme of research.
Relevant experience in molecular biology/genetic techniques, cell biology,
bioinformatics and functional genomics would be an advantage.
